How it works
Three steps, then nothing.

Connect your inbox
Gmail or Outlook, read-only. myReceets never sends mail, never deletes anything, and never changes a thing in your inbox.

We find the receipts
Order confirmations and receipts are picked out and read for the retailer, the amount, the date and the return terms. Everything else in your inbox is ignored.

You hear from us before the window shuts
A reminder three days before a return deadline, and a calendar of what closes when. No daily noise.
What we will and won't claim
If a retailer doesn't state the window, we say so.
Plenty of receipts simply don't say how long you have. Guessing would be worse than useless, because a wrong date is how you miss a return. So myReceets marks a deadline only when the retailer states it or their published policy says it, and otherwise tells you it's unknown.
Your data
Read-only, used for one thing.
What we access
With your permission, myReceets reads your email messages so it can find receipts and
order confirmations. On Gmail this is the gmail.readonly scope. We need the
message body, not just the subject, because the retailer, the amount and the return terms
are written inside it.
What we do with it
We store the receipt details we extract (retailer, date, amount, order number, return deadline) so the app can show you a list and remind you. That is the only purpose.
What we never do
We don't sell your data, don't hand it to advertisers or data brokers, don't use it to build a profile of you, and don't let humans read your mail except where you ask us to fix something or the law requires it.
Leaving
Disconnect an inbox at any time and we stop reading it immediately. Delete your account and we remove your receipts and revoke our access to your mailbox.
myReceets' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
